What do Social Workers do?
Social Workers provide advice, guidance and support on a very wide range of personal and social problems to people of all ages, their carer, family and/or friends. They work very closely with other local authorities, Health Service, voluntary organisations and private/commercial bodies. They can make appropriate arrangements for a wide range of help to be provided according to need. The type of service provided depends on the assessment of need. For more information contact your local Access Team. |
