Age Concern

Strong emphasis on Get Active campaign, involvement in arts and life-long learning and other information pertaining to improved health and emotional well-being.

Energy Grants are provided by the Cheshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre. These are for heating, insulation and renewable technology.

The Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service has specially trained advocates that have the skills to identify the needs (health and social) of the older person. They also offer free Home Fire Safety Checks including free smoke alarms with ten year batteries to all Cheshire residents. Target groups over 65s and those at risk.
