Cheshire's Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) is the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how the relevant organisations in each local area will cooperate to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in Cheshire and for ensuring the effectiveness of what they do.
Information Sharing and ContactPoint ensures that every child at risk will be properly identified, referred to appropriate preventive services and their progress monitored to ensure that they do not subsequently ‘fall through the net’.
