The main focus of the work of our family centres is in supporting families in caring for their children. Centre staff work in partnership with parents and other agencies in the community in order to safeguard children and to ensure that their physical, emotional and educational needs are met.

Our family centres differ in the range or services which they offer to their local communities. Services may be provided individually or within a group setting. A service may be delivered in the centre or an outreach service, depending on the needs of the family.

Families normally access family centre services through the social work team which serves their district. For more information, contact your Access Team who will be able to discuss your needs and the kinds of services which you may need.
