Now in its fourth year, the Positive Awards for Business recognise the good practice developed across the business community of Cheshire in the recruitment of disabled people.
The Awards aim to celebrate, reward and highlight those companies who have demonstrated a good track record in the employment of disabled people.
Nominations for 2008 - 2009 are now invited. |
Mission Statement:
The Cheshire Partnership is committed to enabling disabled people to succeed in work.
"Delivering support to disabled people in Cheshire is the business of everybody who has worked so hard to ensure that the Welfare to Work Joint Investment Plan will deliver. I am confident that it will continue to offer a framework for all organisations across the county to enhance the service they provide to enable disabled people in Cheshire to access meaningful employment" |

Jeremy Taylor, Chief Executive, Cheshire County Council. ‘The challenge facing all partners and providers is to ensure that we work together to ensure that a range of flexible support services is in place. Those services must be responsive to the views and needs of disabled people and enable them to take an active role in planning and accessing the support they need to be able to take up employment opportunities’
Julia Dowd, Executive Director, Learning Skills Council for Cheshire and Warrington.
