The Council has made changes to the way in which parents/guardians can apply for school transport. For the 2008/09 school year, we have used the information that parents/guardians supplied to the Admissions Team (to apply for a school place in a reception or year 7 class) to determine whether a pupil would qualify for help with transport to their chosen school. If you have not heard from us but think that your child may be eligible for help with transport or you have moved house or your child has changed school then you can make an application for assisted travel by calling 01244 976044. Telephone applications will be accepted from June 2008. If you are making an application for transport to start before the end of July 2008 then you should download the application form and complete before posting to Transport & Regeneration, Rivacre Business Centre, Mill Lane, Ellesmere Port CH66 3TL. |
