16 - 18 Rail Card Transport Offer

Main heading

Sub-heading

Are you...

  • Between 16 and 18 years old? and
  • A Cheshire resident?

Your chance to apply for money off rail fares

The Cheshire Youth Parliament has found that the cost of transport is the number one problem facing young people and is putting money into doing something about it. They have secured a limited number of Young Persons Railcards for 16 to 18 year olds in Cheshire. This is part of a pilot project and numbers are strictly limited. This is a free offer to 16 to 18 year olds living in Cheshire. One card per applicant will be issued on a strictly first come first served basis.

What the railcard gives you

The Young Persons Railcard gives a third off most rail fares in Great Britain with certain restrictions for a full year. Use it for train journeys for any one of Cheshire's 47 stations and beyond. The card normally costs £20.

Hurry though

To get your card, print out and complete the Railcard Offer Application form. You will also need to post us a passport-style photograph.

For further information you can contact youthvoiceteam@cheshire.gov.uk or call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33.
