Composting

Main heading

Sub-heading

composting at home
We have a long term commitment to compost green garden waste from the Household Waste Recycling Centres throughout the County.

Every year approximately 17,000 tonnes of green waste is taken to the centres by Cheshire residents, this is used to produce around 9,000 tonnes of Soil Improver.

This material would have otherwise been landfilled taking up over 5,000 cubic metres of tipping space.
