The Council is a key partner in the Cheshire and Warrington Social Enterprise Partnership. The aim of the Partnership is to develop a successful social enterprise community across the sub region by supporting social enterprises to meet the social, economic and environmental needs of their communities and promote their interests at all levels.

The Council currently provides secretariat and administrative support to the Partnership. The County’s Senior Social Enterprise Officer acts in an advisory capacity to the Partnership Executive to assist in its development, and in the delivery of programmes of support to social enterprises across Cheshire and Warrington.
